OUR OPPORTUNITY

 

The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality assistance to the Product Manager.  Key to success will be strong administrative and computer skills, high attention to detail, effective time management, and a desire to provide exceptional service to key stakeholders. You will be responsible for:

  • Assist the Product Manager in surveying industry to monitor market trends;

  • Assist with new product brief information, market analysis and evaluation;

  • Create/update ERP item records for new and changing product requirements;

  • Create initial purchase orders for new products;

  • Assist to identify opportunities in the market that support organisational strategic initiatives including Category/Product/Regional Growth;

  • Produce various reports, product and project briefs, presentations, analyses, correspondence, creative drafts and other documentation; 

  • Work with cross functional teams on the development of product and marketing assets;

  • Assist the team in supporting product launches and the execution of other product marketing initiatives;

  • Communicate new product release dates, pricing and features and benefits to internal stakeholders including Sales and Customer Service teams;

  • Ensure the clarity, accuracy and integrity of technical product information;

  • Build strong working relationships and communication channels with stakeholders; 

  • Data entry and database management, creating, updating and maintaining meticulous records;

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

To be successful in this position you will have the following:

  • 1 + years experience in a product focused role;

  • Strong administrative skills;

  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • A moderate level of MRP or ERP systems for item set up;

  • Cooperates and works well with others in pursuit of team goals;

  • An analytical approach and result-oriented;

  • Experience in building reports and charts;

  • The ability to organise and prioritise; and

  • High attention to detail.
